something crafty is in the works

Two of my part-time jobs at UofT are done at the end of December. I’ll probably be able to get another TAship with the Computer Science department, but it seems there will be no funding to continue my work on gok. It’s a little bit annoying because the project I’m working on is mildly interesting - I might continue working on it my spare time.

Anyway, now that I’m faced with an employment dilemma again, I’m flirting with the idea of becoming a part-time bike courier. Duff always makes being a courier sound sexy so it could be fun. I enjoy biking and working outdoors, the only thing I’m really worried about is biking around in -30. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when it comes.

I’ve been really into Eric B’s & Rakim’s Follow the Leader ablum for the past couple of days. It’s really good stuff … but then again, what do I know, I’m just another mid 20s white guy that likes hip-hop.
