Free Routable Maps for Garmin GPS UnitsThese maps are generated on a weekly basis from with data provided by the Open Street Map project using the latest version of mkgmap. New Open Street Maps data is imported every Thursday night / Friday morning Eastern Standard Time.
To use these maps, just download gmapsupp.img and put it in the "Garmin" folder of your SD card. Once that's done, put the SD card in your GPS unit and turn it on. You should be able to turn on the OSM map from the configuration menu of your GPS unit.
